FATAL I-75 CRASH IN SARASOTA COUNTY

Be advised on the morning of March 15, 2020, around 8:20 AM in Venice, Sarasota County, Florida, there were serious and fatal rollover car crashes, leaving at least one person dead. The accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile marker 195 and involved multiple collisions: a rolled over cement truck versus another truck and another crash with a rolled over septic truck. Florida Highway Patrol has advised that due to the crash, southbound I-75 traffic would be diverted to exit 200. Drivers should try to avoid the area at this time. If they cannot, they should drive with caution.
